For realz this time!!

Saturday and Sunday continued the Thursday and Friday trend of walking. But I know that's not going to cut it long-term. My butt was a slug this weekend - a slug who did at least 30 minutes of extra walking, granted, but a slug nonetheless.

NO MORE!!!

Today began my new revised plan! It's the Shred Monday-Friday and Yoga Meltdown Saturday and Sunday for a little variety.

Also? I'm trying to be good and wear my shoes while doing it. I know I should, but I'm so not a shoe girl unless I'm leaving the apartment. Brooklyn is just not somewhere you want to be running around barefoot. My issue is a) I can't help but feel like the shoes add more weight onto my feet. I know it's mostly psychological, but I don't feel like I can get my feet as high off the ground when I'm wearing them. And then there's issue b) they feel like they're sticking in the carpet. Not so bad in Level 1 when I'm just like running in place (aka butt kicks), but I definitely felt that the carpet was grabbing them and not wanting to let go doing all the jumps in Level 3. And there's nowhere in my apartment besides the kitchen and bathroom (oh please...it's tiny) that's not carpeted. :( Still, I will do my best to wear shoes when I'm Shredding.

So in essence it was Day 1 of round 2 of the Shred! Back to Level 1. Still a challenge! Moreso because of my sluggishness in the past 4 days, but still. And yes, I wore shoes.
